Cricket Bat Willows

East Anglia is famed around the world as the producer of the finest willow cultivars suitable for cricket bats. We are interested in entering into joint ventures with landowners with suitable ground, whereby we undertake the planting, maintenance and management in return for a share of the felled timber’s profits.

Cricket Bats grow on typical rotations of 15-20 years and the return per acre can be equivalent to that of cereal production- yet they are grown on marginal low-lying grassland, wasteland and along ditches and riverbanks. An added bonus is that currently income from Cricket Bat Willows is free of income tax, being outside the scope of schedule D taxation.

If you believe that you have land with potential and are interested in entering a joint venture with us please contact us for more information.
